SpeakerPrice Terms and Conditions

Version 1.0 · Effective 28 August 2026

1. Who these Terms are with

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern use of SpeakerPrice, a service that lets professional speakers capture and qualify booking enquiries and receive guidance on what to charge.

SpeakerPrice is operated by Great Marketing Works Ltd, trading as SpeakerPrice, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 06735667, whose registered office is at 44 Nansen Street, Stretford, Manchester, M32 0JG ("we", "us" and "our").

Questions about these Terms can be sent to dan@greatmarketingworks.co.uk.

These Terms are between us and the speaker. They are not between us and anyone who submits an enquiry. Enquirers are covered by section 6 and by the SpeakerPrice Privacy Notice.

2. Accepting these Terms

You accept these Terms when you confirm acceptance in your SpeakerPrice dashboard, or otherwise expressly agree to the version presented to you.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.

If you use SpeakerPrice on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

We record which version of these Terms you accepted and the date and time of acceptance.

Your enquiry form does not accept submissions until you have accepted these Terms. This is deliberate. The form collects other people's personal information, and we will not collect it on your behalf until you have agreed how it is handled.

3. What SpeakerPrice does

SpeakerPrice gives you an enquiry link you can share or place on your SpeakerProfile. When someone uses it, they answer a series of qualifying questions about their event, audience, format and budget.

You receive the completed enquiry, along with guidance on what a speaker in your position might charge.

3.1 What SpeakerPrice does not do

We are not a speaker bureau or agency. We take no commission on any booking.

We do not negotiate on your behalf, contract with your client, or become party to any agreement between you and them.

We do not guarantee enquiries, bookings, income, or that any enquiry will convert.

4. Pricing guidance is guidance

The figures SpeakerPrice suggests are informational. They are based on general industry patterns and on the rates you have set, not on a valuation of your particular opportunity.

They are not financial, commercial or legal advice. You decide what to charge. You are responsible for the fee you quote, for what you agree with a client, and for the commercial consequences of that agreement.

We are not liable for any loss arising from a fee you set, quoted, accepted or declined.

5. Your rates and your settings

You set your own base rates. Adjustments applied on top of them reflect general factors such as event format, audience size and organisation type.

You are responsible for keeping your rates current. If you leave them at a default, the guidance you receive will reflect that default rather than your actual position.

6. Enquirer information — your responsibilities

This is the part that involves other people, so it is set out plainly.

When someone submits an enquiry to you, they provide personal information — typically their name, email address, telephone number, organisation and details of their event.

6.1 What we do

We collect that information through the form, pass it to you, and notify you. We do not market to your enquirers. We do not add them to any mailing list of ours. We do not sell or share their details with anyone else.

We hold enquiry records so you can access them. Section 7 of the Privacy Notice explains for how long.

6.2 What you must do

Once you receive an enquiry, that person's information is in your hands, and you take on responsibilities for it:

If an enquirer asks us to delete their enquiry, we will delete our copy and tell you. You are responsible for your own copy.

6.3 What you must not do

Do not use SpeakerPrice to collect personal information for any purpose other than handling genuine speaking enquiries. Do not use it to build a marketing list.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use SpeakerPrice to:

We may suspend your enquiry form or your account where we reasonably believe these Terms, the law, or another person's rights have been breached. Where we do, we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

8. Price

SpeakerPrice is included in a SpeakerMarketing membership. It is not sold as a separate subscription.

If you hold an existing arrangement agreed before this version of these Terms took effect, that arrangement continues on its own terms. Contact us if you are unsure what applies to you.

Where you pay for a SpeakerMarketing membership, the membership terms govern payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds.

9. If your membership ends

Your enquiry form stops accepting new submissions.

We will contact you and give you at least 30 days to export your existing enquiries. After that, your enquiry records are kept for a further 90 days and then deleted.

Any link you have already shared will show a message that the speaker is not currently accepting enquiries, rather than an error.

You can export your enquiries at any time, at no charge.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is explained in the SpeakerPrice Privacy Notice, which forms part of the information presented with these Terms and is shown to anyone submitting an enquiry.

Great Marketing Works Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through SpeakerPrice up to the point an enquiry is passed to you. Once you receive an enquiry and use it in your own business, you are responsible for what you do with it, as set out in section 6.2.

11. Availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeakerPrice is provided "as is" and "as available".

We do not guarantee that every enquiry will reach you. Check your enquiry list as well as your notifications.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £100.

We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of anticipated bookings, loss of goodwill, or any loss arising from a fee you set or a booking you did or did not win.

12. Ending use of SpeakerPrice

You may stop using SpeakerPrice at any time. Section 9 explains what happens to your enquiries.

We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent harm, or address a material breach of these Terms.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong, email dan@greatmarketingworks.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

We do not currently use an alternative dispute resolution provider. If we adopt one, we will say so here.

Nothing in this clause affects your right to take a dispute to court.

14. Intellectual property

SpeakerPrice, its software, branding and design are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Your enquiries and your rate settings are yours.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will identify the version and effective date and will give you at least 30 days' notice of any material change.

We will ask you to accept a materially updated version before your enquiry form continues accepting submissions.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you another right.
